PURPOSE:To prevent the performance variation of an ultrasonic motor against temperature changes and deterioration of the weather resistance of bonded parts by integrally constituting the driving section, fulcrum section, and acting section of a stator. CONSTITUTION:A stator 1 made of a piezoelectric material is integrally formed of a driving section 1a, fulcrum section 1b, and acting section 1c, etc. The driving section 1a is polarized and has an electrode group 2 and electrode 3 on both side faces normal to the surface which is brought into contact with a mover 4. The fulcrum section 1b has empty holes 1d where no material (for example, a PZT) does not exists between the sections 1b and 1a. The acting section 1c is arranged on the opposite side of the fulcrum section 1b. Therefore, the performance variation of this motor against temperature changes can be prevented and the deterioration of weather resistance of bonded parts can be prevented and, at the same time, the cost of the motor can be reduced. |
