<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic tape device capable of conducting normal loading operation regarding the magnetic tape device automatically correcting the half slipping-off of a leader block of a cartridge. CONSTITUTION:A mounting section 3, on which a single reel type cartridge 1, in which a drawing block 2 installed at the front end of a built-in tape 10 is fitted into a tape takeoff port 12, is mounted, and a drawing means 7 moving and leading out the drawing block 2 in the fixed direction are provided, and specified treatment is carried out to the pulled-out tape 10. A detecting means 18 detecting whether or not the drawing block 2 of the mounted cartridge 1 is positioned at a normal place capable of being pulled out by the drawing means 7 and a control means 19 moving the drawing block 2 by fixed quantity in the opposite direction to the direction of pulling-out by the drawing means 7 are provided.</p> |
