<p>PURPOSE:To fold a keyboard more compactly by enabling the keyboard to be folded and further folding a display device onto the reverse surface of one part of the keyboard when the keyboard is folded. CONSTITUTION:This equipment has the plate type keyboard 1 which is flat on the whole and the display device 2, which are pivoted at one-side outside edges 3 and 4 so that they can be folded mutually. Further, the rectangular keyboard 1 is divided into two parts 1' and 1'' in nearly the same shape and the parts 1' and 1'' are pivoted so that they can be folded. The display 2 and the parts 1' and 1'' of the keyboard 1 are of nearly the same outward shape size in consideration of mutual folding. The display device 2 is pivoted only on the other part 1'' of the keyboard 1 and operation keys 5 for an electronic computer are arrayed on the reverse surface of one part 1' of the keyboard 1. When the equipment is carried, the display device 2 is folded onto the reverse surface of one part 1' of the keyboard 1.</p> |
