<p>PURPOSE:To prolong the service life of a seal by forming a rotary seal out of a metal annular member integrated with the external wall of a driving shaft to a fitting flange at one end of a hydraulic pump via a bearing, and providing a fixed seal formed out of a metal annular member coming in contact with the axial external side of the rotary seal under a spring force in such a way as engaged with the fitting flange. CONSTITUTION:A rotary seal 5 made of an iron annular flange 50 is integrated with a driving shaft 4 supported on the fitting flange 3 of a hydraulic pump via a bearing 2. A fixed seal 6 made of an annular member 60 having a recess 6C for fitting the seal 5 and contact surface 61 for coming in contact with contact surface 51 of the seal 5 is coupled to the flange 3 via an engagement member 7. A spring member 8 is also laid between the seal 6 and the member 7, and the contact surface 61 of the seal 6 is made to come in pressed contact with the contact surface 51 of the seal 5. In addition, an O-ring 70 is laid between the member 7 and the flange 3.</p> |
