<p>PURPOSE:To provide a display device such as a liquid crystal display having a switching element having clear ON and OFF characteristics. CONSTITUTION:A display device is constituted by using a complementary type thin film transistor 17. In the complementary type thin film transistor 17, one sides 13 and 14 of the input and output parts of a P channel type thin film transistor 11 and an N channel type thin film transistor 12 are connected to VDD of one signal line constituting a matrix, and the other sides are connected to a picture element electrode 101 coming into contact with a display means 18, and the gate parts 15 and 16 have constitution connected to the other signal line VGG. Thereby, the display device having a switching element having clear ON and OFF characteristics can be obtained.</p> |
