<p>PURPOSE:To enable proper setting of the weight distribution in the respective parts of the head. CONSTITUTION:A titanium alloy weight body 16 is welded and fixed into a titanium alloy head body consisting of a body member 2, a face member 3 and a crown member 4. The hit ball is liable to fly high if the centroid over the entire part of the head 1 is lowered by attaching this weight body 16 to the lower side. The head effective for a person having a tendency to hook the ball is obtd. if the weight body 16 is attached to a heel 7 side. On the contrary, effective for a person having a tendency to slice, if attached to a toe 8 side. The weight body 16 is formed to a shape tapered from the joint surface to the body member 2 toward the opposite side. As a result, the welding operation within the narrow body member 2 is facilitated.</p> |
