Disclosed in the present invention are a lens switch integral imaging based 3D display device and displaying method, the display device comprising a first display panel, a lens array and a second display panel; the first display panel and the second display panel synchronously display an element image and a shielding pattern respectively; the element image, the lens array and the shielding pattern are formed by repeatedly and periodically arranging a corresponding unit element image combination, a corresponding unit lens combination and a corresponding unit shielding pattern combination respectively; in one frame of the display device, the unit element image combination, the unit lens combination and the unit shielding pattern combination at least comprise two unit element images, two lenses and two unit shielding patterns respectively. Light beams of each of the unit element images of the unit element image combination pass through the unit shielding pattern combination and then exit in at least two colors and are mixed into white light. At the same refresh frequency, image flicker, observed by human eyes, of the display device is greatly reduced. |
