<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of the damage of the edge of a magnetic tape by correcting the curvature of the magnetic tape by using a proper number of guide pins, which have a projecting curved surface so as to increase diameter at central sections in the axial direction in the shape, among guide pins in contact with the back surface of the magnetic tape. CONSTITUTION:A proper number of guide pins 14, 15, etc., which have a projecting curved surface so as to increase the diameter at central sections in the axial direction in the shape, among guide pins in contact with the back surface of a magnetic tape are used. In the barrel-shaped guide pins 14, 15, etc., the force of the direction of the arrows F and F' works to the magnetic tape 11, the state of positive cupping is offset by negative cupping, and the guide pins are brought into an approximately flat state. Accordingly, the damage of the edges of the magnetic tape is prevented, and abutting characteristics can be improved largely.</p> |
