<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a colorless charge controlling compound adapted to color development good in charge controlling performance and not adversely affecting the other characteristics as the charge control agent by using a compound having a specified triketone structure for the charge controller. CONSTITUTION:This charge control agent to be used for the developer comprises Ca as an interest metal component, and the compound having a salt structure combined with a specified triketone structure as a fundamental skeleton, and the toner comprises at least a colorant and a resin and the charge control agent represented by the formula in which R is optionally substituted 1-10C alkyl or alkoxy, thus permitting the obtained compound to be substantially colorless, and to be speeded up in electron transfer by the structure of Ca salt.</p> |
