<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate charging a sheet even in a sheet feeder using a circular (colunmar shape) delivery roller. CONSTITUTION:In the case of mounting a paper feed cassette 1, by rotating a delivery roller 7 for a prescribed time after detecting the paper feed cassette 1 by a sheet presence detecting means 5, a sheet, received by the paper feed cassette 1 at the time of mounting operation, is prevented from being hooked by the delivery roller 7. Thus in even a sheet feeder using a circular delivery roller 7, the paper feed cassette 1 can be mounted.</p> |
