PURPOSE:To prevent the temperature rise of the welding point between the foil and the lead wire at the seal part of a light emitting tube and a reflector so as to prevent the change of color property by cooling air by dividing the air coming out of a blowout port in to two directions by means of a pair of guide plates existing inside a baffle. CONSTITUTION:The wind having come out of a fan 34 is rectified by passing between middle guide plates 8 and 9. The wind led from the fan 34 goes toward a blowout port 7, and then it is divided into the wind 36, which flows along the inner surface of a reflector by the angle of the guide plate in the vicinity of a blowout port 7 and the wind 37, which goes toward the welding zone between the foil and the lead wire on the opposite side to the side where the reflector is mounted. Hereby, the wind having come out of blowout port does not widen and the orientation is excellent. Moreover, air can be sent in a spot manner to the high-temperature section of a small-sized metal halide lamp so as to cool it, and the wind hits on the inner surface of the mirror, too, so the color property change and the swelling of a light emitting tube can be prevented. |
