PURPOSE:To enable even the setting to an unspecific destination by inputting the point coordinates from the absolute coordinate list or map corresponding to destination data by a screen or sound and setting a destination from point coordinate data and displaying the destination on a guide map. CONSTITUTION:A map having a coordinate list recording the phone number, address, name or place allowed to correspond to absolute coordinates or the absolute coordinates printed therein is looked to calculate the point coordinates of a destination and the calculated point coordinates are inputted by a screen or sound. An operation part calculates a point from the map data stored in a data storage device on the basis of the inputted coordinates data of the destination to display the same on a map screen. By this constitution, the destination data generally provided to a navigation device can be eliminated and a data receiving space and a memory space become unnecessary and the navigation device can be made compact. |
