<p>PURPOSE:To suppress the deformation of leg part or recess part caused by the action of carbon dioxide, etc., filled in a bottle by a method wherein narrow groove-like recess parts are formed in the bottom surface of a pressure resistant plastic bottle toward its center and lateral rib bodies are formed across the recess parts. CONSTITUTION:A pressure resistant plastic bottle has a plurality of leg parts 2 with ground contact parts 21 at their lowest ends spaced equally at the end part of a bottom part 12 forming a continuation of the body part. A bottom surface 22 is made up forming a continuation of the ground contact part 21 and sloping gradually upwardly toward the center of the bottle. In this case, narrow groove-like recess parts 3 are formed in the bottom surface 22 toward the center of the bottle. Lateral rib bodies 4 are formed across the recess parts 3. When the bottle is filled with carbonated beverage, etc., a great inner pressure is exerted on the bottom part 12 by the action of carbon dioxide, etc., to produce stress on the bottom surface 22. Due to the reinforcing effect of the recess parts 3, however, the deformation of the leg parts 2 can be suppressed. Also, the deformation of the recess parts 3 such as causing widening can be suppressed by the lateral rib bodies 4.</p> |
