PURPOSE:To stably and exactly perform the AF operation in an electronic zoom by controlling the parameter of an automatic focus adjustment (AF) to an optimum state according to the state of the electronic zoom. CONSTITUTION:In the processing method of an AF control microcomputer 107, whether an area is an electronic zoom area or not is decided at first and if the area is not the electronic zoom area, moving amount A is set as lens driving amount. Next, when the area is the electronic zoom area and the magnification of the electronic zoom is not changing, driving amount X is set. Further, when the electronic zoom is changing, the magnification of the present electronic zoom is investigated and driving amount (y) and driving amount (z) are set if the magnification states are the wide angle side and the wide side of the electronic zoom, respectively. The relation of the lens driving amount by the state of the electronic zoom is compared with the driving amount when the area is not the electronic zoom area and is imparted by X>Y>Z>A. By such a setting, the influence of the noise due to the electronic zoom can be eliminated at the time of a wobbling. |
