ABRASIVES

摘要

An abrasive grain with an aluminum oxide base is disclosed. The surface of the grain has been treated with from 0.001 to 5.0 percent by weight, based on the weight of the abrasive grain, of a hygroscopic and/or hydrophilic substance. The treated grain which possesses good throwing power and a good capability of being integrated in flexible abrasives or in grinding wheels with artificial resin bonding.
