PURPOSE:To give an antistatic property with high durability and enough surface hardness to an optical disk by incorporating a fluoroalkyl compd. and an acrylate compd. and/or methacrylate into the compsn. CONSTITUTION:This protective coating compsn. for an optical disk contains a fluoroalkyl compd. (A) and an acrylate compd. and/or methacrylate (B). It is preferable that the compsn. contains, as the compd. (B), an acrylate and/or methacrylate containing one or more oxyalkylene units in the molecule. The optical disk coated with this protective coating material has high durability of the antistatic property and hardly causes deposition of dust or foreign matter, so that reliability of recording and reproducing can be improved. |
