PURPOSE:To provide a CT scanner wherein no useless detector channel is provided, the cross-sectional image of an object to be inspected can be obtained at high speed and at high quality by a simple data processing operation and the inspection of the object to be inspected is performed suitably in an on-line manner. CONSTITUTION:Objects 3, to be inspected, which have been placed and arranged on rotating tables 10a to 10f on a revolving table 11 installed along the face of fan-beam radiant rays around an X-ray tube 1 generating an X-ray fan beam 2 provided with a fan angle of 180 deg. is not rotated but revolved, they are passed inside the fan-beam radiant rays, and X-rays which have transmitted the objects 3 to be inspected are detected by a multichannel detector 4 which is arranged in a semicircular shape around the X-ray tube 1 and which is composed of a plurality of detection elements. |
