<p>PURPOSE:To provide a connection method with a cable connection part, in which good electric characteristics are obtained and almost no partial discharge is generated. CONSTITUTION:At first, inner conductors of CV cables 1a and 1b are connected electrically and an inner semiconductive layer is formed around the inner conductor connection part. An insulating layer 2 made of uncrosslinked- or semicrosslinked-state polyethylene is formed. Then, a crosslinked tube 5 is put around the insulating layer 2, and the inside of the crossliked tube 5 is charged with a high-pressure electrically negative gas 8 (SF6) so that the insulating layer 2 is put under higher pressure. Then, the insulating layer 2 is heated with a heater 6 that is turned on, and the insulating layer 2 is crosslinked.</p> |
