摘要 |
PURPOSE:To obtain a current lead equipped with a mechanically stable lead at low temperature side by eliminating the occurrence of cracks in an oxide superconductor as a result of stress concentration at the edge of silver foil covering. CONSTITUTION:A current lead 1 for applying an excitation current from an external power source to a superconducting coil held to a very low temperature is made of a series connecting body to a low temperature side lead 5 consisting of a bar-like oxide superconductor 8 and a high temperature side lead 2 consisting of a bundle 3 of good conductive metal wires, and both the end portions of the bar-like oxide superconductor have silver foil covers 11 and is conductively connected together within a hole 12 formed to a connecting fitting. And stress concentration relieving means 30 comprising a groove 31 formed to a recess at the oxide superconductor side is provided between an end edge portion 11A projected out from a hole of a silver foil cover 11 and the outer periphery of the oxide superconductor 8. |
