PURPOSE:To realize an optical scanner capable of easily restricting the shaft vibration of a rotating body at the time of rated rotation and to provide the optical scanner low in cast, high in speed, long in service life and reduced in vibration and noise by making the rigidity of a bearing very low, thereby making the rated rotational frequency of the optical scanner satisfactorily higher than the resonance frequency of the rotating body. CONSTITUTION:This optical scanner 10 is constituted of the rotating body 9, a bearing device 30 and a motor 40. The bearing device 30 is constituted of pivot bearings 6a and 6b, ring-like elastic bodies 7a and 7b and attenuating members 8a and 8b. Both ends of a bearing member 2 are restricted by the bearings 6a and 6b. The side surfaces of the bearings 6a and 6b are connected to a shaft frame 4 through the elastic bodies 7a and 7b, and the bottom surfaces of the bearings 6a and 6b are connected to the frame 4 through the members 8a and 8b. The bearings 6a and 6b are press-contacted to the member 2 by using the elastic force of the shaft frame 4. |
