PURPOSE:To prevent the number of parts from being increased and cost from rising, to reduce the reduction of a size in the case the plug of an optical fiber cable is not inserted and to prevent the loss thereof as for a light transmission device having an insertion hole and its production. CONSTITUTION:In the light transmission device where the insertion hole 16 for inserting the plug 15 of the optical fiber cable 13 is formed and an optical semiconductor element 14 for photoelectric conversion is provided inside; a turnable covering body 12 integrated with a light transmission device main body 11 is provided in front of the insertion hole 16. |
