PURPOSE:To eliminate an erroneous synchronization and to shorten the time till a synchronization establishment by transmitting a payload part by making it continuous patterns of a fixed value, when a synchronization is not established in a device establishing a frame synchronization based on a synchronizing pattern part. CONSTITUTION:Terminal devices 17 and 19 which have the same constitution and are opposing each other perform a frame transmission mutually via an exclusive line network 18. After the conversion part 1 of the device 19 receives an optical or electric transmission line signal and converts it into a unipolar signal, the part 1 outputs the signal to the inside of the device, and a frame synchronizing detection part 2 makes the output of the conversion part 1 an input. A reverse conversion part 3 inputs a signal to be transmitted to an opposing station from the inside of the device and converts the unipolar signal into an optical or electric transmission line signal. At this time, before the detection part 2 establishes a frame synchronization, a signal processing part 4 fixes all the payload parts in the frame to 1 or 0. Thus, even if the pattern which are the same as frame synchronizing patterns exist in a line network, an erroneous synchronization is eliminated and synchronization recovery time is shortened. |
