Stopper with tamper-evident device for container with a folded back or reinforced circular rim, this stopper comprising an upper part (2) radially and frontally overlapping the rim of the container (3) and downwardly prolonged by an external skirt (4) which is itself prolonged beyond tear-off tongues (5) by a tamper-evident strip (6), elements which are obliquely inclined towards the inside and towards the rim of the container, preventing the removal of the tamper-evident strip (6), characterised in that the inclined elements consist of an inclined rib (14) of an auxiliary ring (13) placed inside the external skirt (4) and the tamper-evident strip (6), the rib being able to be continuous or in the form of a separate tongues. <IMAGE>
