<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the influence caused by the change in the lapse of time and the variation of a product by providing a calibration circuit, and to realize a stable high definition position detection over a long period. CONSTITUTION:A calibration operation start is instructed, and four prescribed positions T1-T4 determined in advance are dot-displayed on a display screen on which transparent resistance films X, Y are installed. When a touch input is executed actually to positions of the dot displays T1-T4, each touch position is calculated by a control circuit 10. When this calculated position is in the vicinity (within a prescribed error range) of physical coordinate values T1-T4, a calibration arithmetic part 21 of a calibration circuit 20 stores voltage value data obtained by the actual touch input in a nonvolatile memory 22 as a voltage value applied to its physical coordinate value. When an actual touch input detecting operation is started, a value stored as reference data in the nonvolatile memory 22 is referred to, and a touch position corresponding to the detected voltage value is calculated.</p> |
