<p>PURPOSE: To simplify constitution and to maintain specified tension at all times regardless the fluctuation in turning of a supply reel and the remaining amt. of the tape by providing the device with a clutch roller and a low-friction roller. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with the clutch roller 22 which has friction torque of specified magnitude and rotates in tight contact with one flank of the tape 11 and the low-friction roller 24 which rotates in tight contact with another flank of the tape 11 between the supply reel 12 for supplying the tape 11 and a drum 14. The tape 11 released from the supply reel 12 heads toward the drum 14 while traveling between the clutch roller 22 and the low- friction roller 24. The roller 34 of the clutch roller 22 is fixed to a guide member 35 and rotates around a pin 31 via felt 36 which is a friction member with a lower plate 33 fixed to main chassis 30 to each other. At this time, friction force is generated between the bottom end of the guide member 35 and the top end of the felt 36. The friction force keeps the tension of the tape 11 constant.</p> |
