<p>PURPOSE:To enable starting a recording without damaging a magnetic tape even when a recording stand-by state is continued for a specified time by moving a tracing position at every time when the recording stand-by state passes the specified time while keeping a rotary head rotating as it is and making the recording to be in a stand-by. CONSTITUTION:The recording operation when the recording stand-by state is not continued for more than five minutes is the same as that in conventional manner. However, when the recording stand-by state is continued for a time longer than five minutes without depressing a trigger button 8, a servo circuit 7 rotates a capstan motor 6 inversely, the capstan motor 6 feed a magnetic tape by a frame-feeding by the amount of two tracks (one frame), the rotary head 5 is moved from a tracing position C to D of the magnetic tape 1 and a VTR is kept in a stand-by state at the position D. Then, the time measurement of the stand-by state is started newly after a counter is reset. Thus, the starting of the recording is made possible instantaneously since the rotary head does not damage the magnetic tape even when the recording stand-state is continued for the specified time.</p> |
