<p>PURPOSE:To substantially eliminate the adverse influence of decoloration and color fading even when the decoloration type toner is heated at the time of kneading or is irradiated with natural light during storage by incorporating a binder resin and specific near IR absorptive dye into the toner. CONSTITUTION:The binder resin and the near IR absorptive dye into the toner expressed by formula I or formula II are incorporated into the decoloration type toner. In the formula I, X denotes halogen ions, perchloric acid ions, PF6<-> SbF6<->, OH<->, sulfonic acid ions or BF4<->; Y denotes a cation having an absorption characteristic in a near IR region. In the formula II, R to R respectively independently denote hydrogen atoms, hydrocarbon groups or hydrocarbon groups contg. heteroatoms ; Y is the same as in the case of the formula I. Namely, the binder resin and the near IR absorptive dye are used for the master batch for the decoloration toner and decoloring agents are not incorporated therein and, therefore, the master batch itself is excellent in optical stability, etc., and exhibits the color fading resistance excellent over a long period.</p> |
