METHOD AND EQUIPMENT FOR DETERMINING CONFIGURATION OF INTEGRATED CIRCUIT

PURPOSE: To facilitate the design of a circuit and to assess to which degree the specified part of the circuit is required to be turned to a wiring circuit by simulating a function to be performed by a dedicated circuit to be designed by a parallel processing structure machine provided with a transputer. CONSTITUTION: A memory 1 is provided with the list of tasks required to be executed by an integrated circuit to be decided. Further, ports 2-6 used as an input port or an output port are provided and the ports 2-6 connect up-line circuits 7-9 to the integrated circuit. The circuit of this device simulates the processing of signals received from the up-line circuits 7-9 at the time of applying a program provided in the memory 1. Thereafter, processed signals are transmitted to a down-line circuit. The parallel processing structure machine composed of the transputer 10 of a T425 type is provided so as to simulate the tasks.
