<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the abandonment of specific burst information and to improve the utilization efficiency of a cell exchange by fetching only a cell belonging to specific burst to a buffer when congestion is generated in a reception buffer and abandoning all the other cells. CONSTITUTION:Terminal equipments 111-12n are provided with a burst identifier imparting circuit 1 as a means for imparting identifiers for indicating the head, middle and termination of a series of a packet to the header information of the cell in the case of transmitting a series of the packet constituted of the plural cells of consecutive information. The cell exchange 2 is provided with the means for detecting the identifiers for indicating the head, middle and termination of the packet. When the passing of the cells becomes large and the abandonment is required, the detection means preferentially performs a processing for a series of the packet after detecting the identifer for indicating the head of the packet until detecting the termination identifier corresponding to the control mode signal of an exchange system from an outside. The means are provided in reception filters 251-25n, and the cell belonging to the specific burst is not abandoned even when the congestion is generated in the reception buffer.</p> |
