PURPOSE:To provide the light guide whose adhesive is neither burnt nor degradated even in the case of making strong light incident. CONSTITUTION:A fiber whose outside diameter is varied from one end toward the other like a taper is used as a fiber 1 for light guide for illuminating light transmission, and many fibers 1 are bundled with large-diameter parts on the incidence side (a) and small-diameter parts on the exit side (b) and are fixed by an adhesive 3. Since the effective diameter for incidence of light is practically increased in the incidence end part (a) where many large-diameter parts are bundled, strong light can be made incident without being narrowed. Thus, the light quantity density of the adhesive 3 is reduced to prevent the adhesive from being burnt and degradated. |
