PURPOSE:To provide a charge controller for a motor operated truck in which reduction in electric energy stored in a battery is prevented by a memory effect of the battery and use of the battery for a long period can be performed. CONSTITUTION:The charge controller for a motor operated truck comprises a pair of batteries 45a, 45b placed on the track, switching means 57b, 57d for selectively applying powers of the pair of the batteries 45a, 45b to a load, and detecting means 58 for detecting power consumptions of the batteries 45a, 45b of a side for supplying power to a load by the means 57b, 57d. The controller further comprises control means 64 for controlling to switch the means 57b, 57d so as to supply the power of the other batteries 45b, 45a to the load in a state that the power consumption detected by the means 58 reaches a predetermined value, and charge means 38, 56, 57a, 57c for charging the batteries 45a, 45b of the side for not supplying power to the load by the means 57b, 57d. |
