PURPOSE:To quickly an easily presume an age objectively based on a produced face image and also to easily know the result of comparison with the average age. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 1 automatically produces a face image (e.g. the image of his own face or another person's face) by combining together the patterns of each part. When it is desired to know the age of the produced face image, an age presumption switch 6 is depressed so that the CPU 1 detects the feature data (the face contour, the eye positions, etc.) in accordance with the age of the face image. This detection data is used as an input parameter and a fuzzy inference is carried out based on the fuzzy rule stored in a table ROM 12. Then the age of the face image is presumed based on the result of the fuzzy inference and then shown at a display part 13. |
