PURPOSE:To obtain a mark tube holding means for holding a mark tube securely in response to the change of the outer shape of a mark tube in a device for mounting mark tube on wire, which carries a wire and inserts it in a mark tube single material and which cuts the wire at a predetermined length. CONSTITUTION:A device for mounting mark tube on wire has a means for carrying a wire, a mark tube holding means 14 provided in a wire carrying route and provided with a set part 14c for holding a mark tube single material and a guide part 14d for guiding the wire to an inner hole of the mark tube single material and a pin 24 for changing the width of the set part 14c in response to the outer shape of the mark tube, and a mark tube carrying means for carrying the mark tube single material to the set part 14c of the mark tube holding means 14. In the case of a narrow mark tube, the pin 24 is withdrawn, and in the case of a thick mark tube, the pin 24 is projected to change the width of the set part 14c. |
