<p>PURPOSE:To speedily, correctly enable performing the retrieval of an object track in a reproducing device for reproducing digital signals like a DCC player, etc. CONSTITUTION:During reproducing a magnetic tape 1, when a system controller 10 receives a forward and backward track retrieval command, a track protecting means 9 outputs the command of a track retrieval protecting operation to a mechanism controlling means 3. Thus, a starting-marker discriminating means 6 is made to be able to discriminate a starting-marker correctly from a track retrieval starting position and outputs the command of a reproducing operation of the tape to the mechanism controlling means 3 when the starting-marker of the object track is detected.</p> |
