PURPOSE:To obtain a compact device constituted so that a transfer material or the like can be prevented from being soiled accompanying the dropping of residual toner collected in a cleaning device, an excellent image can be stably obtained and the exchanging life of a process unit is prolonged by carrying the residual toner recovered by a cleaning member to a storage part by a carrying means. CONSTITUTION:The process unit 1 freely loadable and unloadable on a device main body is constituted of a photoreceptor 2, an electrostatic charge device 8 uniformly electrostatically charging the photoreceptor 2 and the cleaning device 3 eliminating the residual toner on the photoreceptor 2 after a toner image is transferred on the transfer material. One end of the spiral residual toner carrying means 3C is freely rotatably supported by the side wall of the residual toner storage part 16 and rotational driving force is given to the other end thereof by the driving-side gear of the photoreceptor 2. Then, the residual toner recovered to a residual toner housing space formed by a cleaning blade 3a slid and brought into contact with the photoreceptor 2 and a receiving sheet 3b is carried and recoverd to the storage part 16. |
