The invention relates to an essentially pure microalgal biomass, characterised in that it consists of cyanobacteria of the species Mastigocladus laminosus. It also relates to a microalgae extract and a thermostable and/or thermotolerant SOD obtained by extraction. The invention also relates to dermocosmetic or pharmaceutical compositions, to matured muds or food additives containing microalgae or their extracts. It finally relates to processes for improving the condition of healthy skin or of a healthy subject and his locomotive or general comfort.
