Amidoxime derivs. (I, R =H, Ph, C1-4 alkyl; R1 = H, metal atom, C1-4 alkyl ; Ar = halogen atom, OH, C1-4 alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, alkylsulfinyl, alkylsulfonyl, CF3) were prepd. by the reaction of II(Y = halogen atom) with amidoximes (III) in water-org. -mixed solvent at 20OC-80OC in the presence of alkaline condensation agent such as NaOH, KOH, tetraalkylammonium hydroxide. About 50 I having auxin-like activity at 1-100 g/ha and herbicidal activity at 0.5-10kg/ha were prepd.
