DYNAMIC HIERARCHICAL SELECTION MENU

PURPOSE: To provide a control mechanism which can easily carry out an accessible user interface. CONSTITUTION: A control window 10 has a 1st zone 20 where a list of selection levels is displayed and a 2nd zone where a list 32 of selection options included in the selection levels is displayed and advances in a multi-level hierarchy menu to carry out selection of menus. The 2nd zone is refreshed by selection of another selection level included in a menu hierarchy in response to execution or registration of the selection option that is carried out by a user at the selection level displayed first. Then the user can carry out selection of a 'fast route' hierarchy menu based on the preset default value of every selection level.
