The invention relates to a product for releasing an insecticide by combustion. The product according to the invention comprises a cardboard with a spiral which has been cut out (stamped out) beforehand and which is impregnated with an insecticide. From this product, an unbreakable coil is obtained which is easy to separate and which, after lighting, is slowly and steadily consumed, an insecticide being released without emitting large amounts of pungent and unpleasant smoke.
