An operation problem of a controlled device attributable to a change in a phase of a transmission cycle of a control signal provided to the controlled device is suppressed. According to an embodiment, a semiconductor device (120) comprises an adjustment circuit (130) which transmits a control signal (150) to a controlled device (140) according to a transmission cycle synchronized with a reference clock. The controlled device (140) has a first period during which the control signal (150) is allowed to be provided and a second period during which the provision of the control signal (150) is not preferable to that during the first period. The adjustment circuit (130) is configured to adjust transmission timing of the control signal (150) so that the control signal (150) is transmitted within the first period when the transmission timing of the control signal (150) determined based on the transmission cycle is within the second period. |
