<p>PURPOSE:To form the thin-film two-terminal element having high reliability without having defects with good reproducibility and to provide an active matrix substrate having high reliability at a low cost and the active matrix type liquid crystal display device by the element described above. CONSTITUTION:This thin-film two-terminal element is formed by interposing an insulator between a first conductor (upper conductor) 3 and a second conductor (lower conductor) 1. The particle size of the second conductor (lower conductor) 1 disposed under the insulator in contact therewith is >=30Angstrom at least on its surface. The active matrix substrate is constituted by using the thin-film two-terminal element and this active matrix type liquid crystal display device is constituted by using the active matrix substrate.</p> |
