<p>PURPOSE:To provide a protective extension cover in a small light body easily fixed on each branch connection member, in which a protective member put at a branch connection part of a trunk cable is used as a guiding member in trunk-cable laying work. CONSTITUTION:A triangular protective extension cover 10 is fitted to a branch connection part 3 formed in an elongated direction of a trunk cable 1. A main- body fitting member 11 fitted to a main body 31 of the branch connection part 3 and a branch-part fitting member 15 fitted to each cylindrical part at a branch part 4 are shaped like a 'U' in cross section with each projected part at both top ends so that the projected part is tightened and fixed around the cylindrical part of the main body. Moreover, these U-shaped members 11 and 15 are connected at each end part with a slant member 18, and a slant face of the slant member 18 functions as a guide when the branch connection part is passed through a narrow space.</p> |
