PURPOSE:To allow the processing unit to cope with various color spaces without notifying complicated color information such as a reference white level point and a color reproduction range by forming various color data with a color space identification symbol and a color value in a color space only. CONSTITUTION:A color conversion processing unit 5 uses a color information input means 1 to input a color space identification symbol of each of color data and a color value of a color space to a color storage means 2, which stores the color space identification symbol and the color in pairs. When a color conversion request of color data stored to the processor 5 externally comes, the color space identification signal and the color value on request from the means 2 are extracted and outputted to a color information output means 3, which are received by the processor 5, in which color conversion processing in response to the color space is executed to convert the color. |
