发明名称 RADIATION DETECTOR
摘要 PURPOSE:To make uniform the optical characteristics by mixing a translucent adhesive layer with spacers having same diameter thereby making uniform the thickness of the adhesive layer and keeping a scintillator in a constant posture. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive layer 9 is mixed with right spheric spacers 12 thus arranging a semiconductor substrate 3 and a scantillator 1 through a gap, i.e., an adhesive layer 9, corresponding to the diameter of the spacer 12. The adhesive 9 is pushed gradually to the periphery of the adhering face, and the semiconductor substrate 3 and the scintillator 1 are pressed until the gap is decreased down to the diameter of the spacer 12. The spacer 12 is composed, for example, of an acryl based, epoxy based or divinylbenzene based bridged polymer resin having high transparency. Consequently, the refractive index is substantially equalized to that of the adhesive layer 9. Furthermore, the surface of the semiconductor substrate 3 is protected against damage because of the relatively low hardness.
