The invention relates to a sludge pump which is formed by a submersible electric motor 10, to which a single-spindle pump 20 is attached with a disintegrator 30 fitted in front for destroying solid particles which are located in the delivered sludge and which would make the operation of an independent single-spindle pump 20 impossible. According to the invention, on the one hand a single-spindle pump 20 with fixed stator 201 and on the other hand a submersible electric motor 10 are provided for this purpose. The submersible electric motor 10 has a shaft projecting on both sides. The said single-spindle pump 20 is then attached to the top end, and the disintegrator 30 is attached to the bottom end. The outlet of the disintegrator 30 is provided with an intermediate piece 32 which is hydraulically attached to a suction piece 21 of the single-spindle pump 20. According to the invention, the hydraulic connection is formed by at least one tubular bypass 40 or by an annular space 410 which is formed concentrically to the axis 100 of the submersible electric motor 10. <IMAGE>
