A trackless spoil-car system for material transport in a pipe profile section, in particular such with an inner profile differing from the circular profile, such as an egg-shaped profile, for sewers is described. In this system, according to the invention the spoil car has a cross-sectional shape adapted to the inner profile and cut off at the top and thereby essentially fills the centre and bottom area of the inner profile, and the spoil car carries at its two front ends in each case several guide rollers (61, 63) touching the inner surface of the inner profile, several supporting rollers (71, 73) arranged one behind the other parallel to the spoil-car axis being provided at the underside of the spoil car (Fig. 4). <IMAGE>
