Shooting weapon (firearm, archery weapon)

The shooting weapon is designed on a base frame which consists of a profiled support which is continuous from the barrel to the butt plate. The barrel of the shooting weapon forms a barrel unit with the breech, breech housing and magazine chute, which barrel unit is mounted on the profiled support such that it can easily be replaced. The other functional parts of the shooting weapon, such as the extraction device, aiming device, front stock, handle, butt plate etc. are likewise arranged detachably on the profiled support. The profiled support, which consists of commercially available rod profiles, makes it possible to construct the shooting weapon with a low profile and with the aiming line located low. As a result of the capability to replace the barrel unit, which can be fired on its own, various shooting weapons, for example with a different calibre, can be built up in the manner of a modular system.
