PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquefied gas carrying vessel capable of setting a gas pressure of the downstream side of a compressor in a required range even when the load of an engine increases rapidly.SOLUTION: An LNG (liquefied natural gas) carrying vessel comprises: a tank for storing a liquefied gas; a compressor having variable discharge amount; an engine capable of using a gas as a fuel; a vaporized gas line guiding to the compressor, a gas in which the liquefied gas vaporizes naturally in the tank; a compressed gas supply line guiding the gas compressed by the compressor to the engine; a controller controlling the discharge amount of the compressor; and an input unit for switching a control mode of the controller to a steady control mode and a nonsteady control mode. The controller controls the discharge amount of the compressor when in the steady control mode so that the gas pressure of the compressed gas supply line becomes a first set pressure, and controls the discharge amount of the compressor when in the nonsteady control mode so that the gas pressure of the above compressed gas supply line becomes a second set pressure higher than the first one.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
