<p>The invention relates to a tunnel composting unit for the decomposition of predominantly organic materials. The tunnel composting unit comprises essentially a material inlet in the end-side region, a horizontally directed decomposition-material conveyor, a device for aerating and draining in the base region of the tunnel, and an ejection opening at the end of the unit. The object of the invention is to present a tunnel composting unit, of the type described in the introduction, which ensures problem-free and reliable conveying of the decomposition material through the tunnel without the loose fill being changed by mixing processes. <IMAGE></p> |
