The invention relates to a photopolymerisable composition containing i) a polymerisable compound containing an unsaturated bond which is capable of addition polymerisation; ii) a compound of the formula (I) <IMAGE> in which R<1> and R<2> are each, independently of one another, a hydrogen atom or an alkyl, substituted alkyl, alkoxy, alkoxycarbonyl, aryl, substituted aryl or aralkyl group; R<3>, R<4>, R<5> and R<6> are each, independently of one another, a group selected from those listed above in connection with the substituents R<1> and R<2> or are an alkylthio, arylthio, amino or substituted amino group; X is an atomic group containing no metal atoms which is necessary for formation of a 5- to 7-bonded ring; and Z is an atomic group containing no metal atoms which is necessary for the formation of a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic ring or a substituted or unsubstituted heteroaromatic ring; and iii) a halomethyltriazine compound. The composition is highly sensitive to actinic light rays, which extend from ultra-violet rays to visible light rays.
